I was wondering if anyone knows who is posting on the anti-site as "Batman"? I think your fighting the good fight but against all odds.Pretty hard to win with them or even make a point but it can be a hoot trying. Jack ------------------

Jack,I think Batman's coarse language is doing more to hurt polygraph than to help it. As a matter of principle (as well as direct orders), I refuse to post on the anti site. I don't sit in judgement of those examiners who do choose to post there, but I do htink Batman and Torpedo's unprofessional behavior is bad advertising for us. Compare their posts to those of Public Servant, J.B. McCloughan, and Dr. Barland (they haven't posted for a while) and you'll see what I mean. ------------------ It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it.

Every examiner should read the antipolygraph site to keep track of what our opponents are saying and doing. To enter into any kind of so-called debate, is fruitless- we're not going to sway their minds, so why bother? However, IF an examiner was going to make a post, I would propose the posting of "confirmed" cases only, with case facts -minus identity- wherein the innocent were exonerated, as well as exposing the deceptive who were using countermeasures-- and where the countermeasure technique used came from. In this manner, the undecided who read the posts can read for themselves the benefit of an exam if they are innocent, as well as the difficulty of successfully using a countermeasure if that is what the 'subject' is seeking. Unfortunately, the posting of those who were'deceptive' with admissions, would only stir allegations of the examiner using "brow beating interrogation tactics" and "lies to get the confession" mentality of the opponents. It would be a 'tough' daily read at antipolygraph.org if the last ten posts everyday was someone being exonerated or 'caught' with a countermeasure.

I asked because I was having a discussion on that site with Michelle. I was posting under "confused". I admit I was baiting her a bit and enjoying it. Always amazing to me how someone can become an expert in a matter of days and be so convinced of something with know first hand knowledge. The reason I asked about Batman was because she seemed to think I was him and just afraid to say so. I hadn't read on that site for awhile and did think the hardcore guys seem to be backing off on telling people to lie out right. Maybe I just didn't pick up on it. One guy did tell me it was ok to lie and cheat to get a job because examiners lie and cheat too. Jack ------------------

Jack,Funny how poor innocent "Miss" Michelle suddenly became an expert on polygraph, made dozens of posts, and then mysteriously disappeared. My guess is that "Michelle" is either Septic, Georgie, beech nuts, or one of the other antis in drag. (My money's on Septic.) ------------------ It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it.
